Gender-affirming care is designed to support and affirm an individual’s gender identity. This can include use of your chosen name and pronouns, support on ways to change social expression, and hormonal therapy. We also provide counseling on surgical treatments.
Our providers follow national and international expert guidelines for prescribing gender-affirming hormonal therapies. These medications (estrogen or testosterone) allow for the development of sex characteristics that more closely align with a person’s gender identity.
