Abortion Travel Guide: Colorado Springs to Boulder, CO

If you live in Colorado Springs or El Paso County, you have strong legal protections for abortion care under Colorado law.

However, access can still feel complicated – whether due to appointment availability, personal privacy concerns, insurance questions, or simply wanting a trusted, established clinic.

At Boulder Valley Health Center (BVHC), we have provided compassionate, confidential abortion care to Colorado residents for over 50 years.

Located in Boulder, we regularly serve patients traveling from Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado who are looking for experienced providers, efficient scheduling, and supportive care.

Planning Your Travel from Colorado Springs to Boulder

Boulder is typically 1.5 to 2 hours from Colorado Springs, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Many Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado patients choose to:

  • Drive north via I-25
  • Use RTD regional bus routes (RTD Trip Planner)
  • Arrange a trusted support person to accompany them

Your access to high-quality abortion care should never depend on your zip code. We regularly serve patients from Colorado Springs, Briargate, Fountain, Monument, Pueblom, Canon City, and other surrounding areas.
