Teen Education and Resources

Our Teen & Community Program provides comprehensive reproductive and sexual health education to thousands of Boulder Valley students each year. We also support health educators, parents, young people, health providers, and our community with medically accurate resources.

  • Besider: A birth control website and support network that can help someone find a birth control method that works for them. The website also has a clinic finder to locate a nearby clinic if someone is outside the Boulder Valley.
  • Your Birth Control Fact Sheet in English and Spanish from the Reproductive Health Access Project. It has pictures and short descriptions of all methods in alphabetical order.
  • A one-page handout on birth control methods from UCSF Beyond the Pill in English and Spanish.
  • Scarteen: A sexual health website that provides information on sexuality and relationships for teens and young adults.
  • Sexetc: A sex education website written for teens, by teens.
  • Go Ask Alice from Columbia University: Medically accurate information designed for young people on a wide range of health topics.
  • Love is Respect: Information on healthy relationships and dating abuse.
  • SPAN: Boulder Valley alliance for non-violence with local support and resources for people in abusive relationships as well as a 24-hour crisis hotline.
  • Advocates Youth: Youth activists and adult allies working on sexual health, rights, and justice.
  • Guttmacher Institute: A leading research and policy organization committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights.
